Attivio Recognized in KMWorld Magazine's 100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management List

Awarded for its unique ability to address all search and discovery demands across an enterprise.

Attivio, Inc., the software company reinventing strategic search, today announced that it has been named to KMWorld Magazine's "100 Companies That Matter in Knowledge Management" in 2015. This is Attivio's seventh time on the list since its inception in 2001.

Now in its 15th year, the list is compiled by knowledge management professionals, theorists, analysts, vendors, customers and colleagues to recognize organizations with a steadfast commitment to creating and offering products that respond to the market's demands.

"The criteria for inclusion on the list vary, but each of those listed have things in common. Each has either helped to create a market, redefine it, enhance or extend it," said Hugh McKellar, KMWorld Editor-in-Chief. "They all share a fundamental motivation to innovatively meet and anticipate the widely diverse needs of customers with robust solutions to meet evolving customer requirements challenges.

Attivio's most recent product release, Attivio 4.3, is the only platform that addresses all search and discovery initiatives within an organization. Attivio 4.3 enables non-data scientists to extract insight and value from a single reusable platform. With improved functionality, non-technical business users are able to build, deploy and manage contextually relevant applications that drive revolutionary insight.

"We understand how vital information access is to the success of an enterprise," said Attivio CEO Stephen Baker. "Attivio provides immediate visibility into all information, granting users self-service discovery of structured and unstructured information. We're honored to once again be recognized among the most prestigious technology vendors in knowledge management."

The complete list will be featured in KMWorld's March 2015 issue and will also be available at
