ConnectHer Visits Rosie’s Place
In the past year Attivio has been recognized as one of the top places to work. One of the reasons for the recognition is the value we place on diversity. To this end, we recently began a new women’s group named ConnectHer.
The group’s mission is to provide a supportive space for the women of Attivio to anchor trusting relationships, build self-confidence, nurture positive attitudes, inspire ambition and bolster their voices as they pursue professional and personal growth. Since starting ConnectHer we’ve hosted a number of internal events, including a group screening of TED Talk "We should all be feminists" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and group bonding over afternoon tea.
Most recently, we left the confines of our new office and spent a (rainy) day volunteering at a local women’s shelter, Rosie’s Place helping to cater dinner. Nine motivated Attivio ladies prepped and served dinner for nearly 150 people.
We also got involved in Rosie's Place’s annual back-to-school drive. We set a goal to collect 60 much needed back-to-school items for children in two weeks. We’re happy to report and we smashed our goal; we nearly tripled the target in just two weeks! #WinAsaTeam
