Home Resources Case Studies United States Golf Association

Attivio Customer: USGAThe United States Golf Association (USGA) is the governing body of golf in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. In addition to hosting championships they are responsible for providing golfers with information related to courses, historical archives and the actual rules of the game. The USGA wanted to provide their website visitors with the best search experience possible and had the need to integrate multiple content sources together, both structured and unstructured (CMS, digital archives, e-commerce catalog, etc.).

PROBLEM

Sport governing body needed better information access on its website:
  • To increase value of services and expand membership
  • Legacy search didn't bring together results from news, rules, events, archives and digital media
  • Show insight and understanding of variable conditions, not just "a list of links"
  • More intuitive search interface
