Attivio Hires Alan Cooke as Chief Financial Officer

Information Access Innovator Adds Industry-Veteran to Executive Team

Attivio, Inc., a unified information access solution that integrates enterprise search and business intelligence capabilities, today announced it has named Alan Cooke, former Vice President at Merrill Lynch, as Chief Financial Officer. In his role as CFO, Cooke will help Attivio continue to gain momentum in the industry and accelerate its already significant growth trajectory.

At Merrill Lynch, Cooke worked as an equity research analyst covering the enterprise software industry, including such companies as Microsoft, Oracle, VMware, Salesforce.com, Sybase, Lawson and Informatica. He also held strategic planning and operations management positions at Oracle Corporation and McKinsey & Company. Cooke earned his BA from the University of Ottawa, a JD from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
